In this example of unfinished work through 2 passes, I designed and developed the playing space to channel the player up the hill through a series of staged combat events taking place between the Weyland Yutani Mercs and Xenos. The player was also involved in the combat as Mercs and Xenos were released to attack the player after completing their scripted events. Or having it interrupted by the player's assault.

This screenshot from the Unreal 3 Editor shows an example of the pathing and game play I developed for Mission 8 in this part of the play space. A video capture of the game play can be viewed fom the first thumbnails along the left hand side. Note, this is shy of a final pass and polish. Later Developer changes removed the environment, altered the landscape and game play before release.
